Nokia 500 comes in Many Colors !
What can you say, woke up to an announcement of a new Nokia, thats by all means was not predictable! a mid range phone with a huge 1 GHz Processor which is shared by the N9 only!
A design that comes between the X7 rounded back, and the X6,X2 ... round edges, the Nokia 500 is a joy to the eye, housing a good 3.2'' capacitive touch screen with a 16:9 nHD (640 x 360 pixels) resolution, (no mentioning of the multi-touch input) and call, end and home buttons under the screen, the right side have the slide lock and the volume buttons, and the left side has no buttons, the upper side have the 3.5mm mini headphone jack
a USB charging dock and one groove that i didn't recognize!
The Nokia 500 comes with a 1GHz processor, which is more than needed on such device, but Nokia in the phones specs sheet didn't mention anything about the make of the processor and more details about its performance, although the video attached courtesy of NokiaConversations shows a slow response of the UI compared to a 1GHz processor! (something does not add here) Internal memory of 2 GB and a micro SD slot (that i expect under the battery cover along with the SIM card slot) up to 32 GB.
The OS of the Symbian anna, the latest release with a great integration of social networking and web browsing capabilities, and not to forget the humongous battery life of this device which can give you 5-7 hours talk time which matters to me the most, with the ability to multitask to the max with that Processor and a good OS that helps.
A 5MP camera is good and note that there is no more information about the make of the camera, so i will assume its a stock 5MP camera with Full Focus! we will wait till somebody get his hands on one to know what kind of camera we are talking about. GPS and A-GPS comes to help one single cause, Nokia maps and free navigation to all Nokia phones, Nokia comes with Directions :D
With this new release Nokia is back to take care of the middle range of consumers instead of concentrating on the flagship, and flagship only. this device have a great processor, lots of memory (provided the micro SD), latest OS, compact design and long lasting battery life that is appealing in every way possible.
Did i told you it comes in many bright colors, and an extra two colored battery covers!
